The NYC Meisner in Music Monthly Class

Class Schedule:

Classes typically occur biweekly on the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month.

Students sign up for any two classes per month ahead of time. If they ever need to, they may attend an online class.

  • Sundays 5:00 - 8:00pm (NYC)

Who It’s For:

  • MiM Gym is for newbies who want a taste of Meisner in Music and returning artists who want to sharpen their toolsets.

The Focus:

  • The fundamentals of Meisner in Music
  • Honing the habit of presence while singing 

The Structure:

  • 8 student max
  • Pianist at every class
  • Group work + each artist guaranteed a solo work session per class
  • Ability to record one's own work session

How Often:

  • 2 classes per month
  • 3 hour classes
  • Artists sign up for their two classes beforehand as they would a workout class.

How Much:

Our terms and conditions are as follows (⭐️ please read all, especially the starred ones, before registering!):

 

⭐️ As a class member, you are registering for a bi-weekly class that will occur on the second and fourth weeks of each month and last at least three hours and up to three and a half hours each.

 

⭐️ Upon registering, you are granted a spot in the two in-person classes that are scheduled for the month. Any missed classes are not available to rollover into upcoming months.

 

⭐️ It is the student's responsibility to attend these two classes each month and notify their teacher or [email protected] of any online makeup classes as needed. Classes may be made up in an online MiM Gym class as long as students give 24 hours notice in writing prior to the class' scheduled start time.

 

⭐️ By purchasing a monthly class membership, you authorize that $195.00 USD (or reduced scholarship price if applicable) may be charged to your account every 30 days until cancelling or suspending your membership in writing. You agree to notify [email protected] in writing of any changes in your account information or termination of this authorization by at least the 20th of the month prior to the month that you'd like to change your membership for.

 

⭐️ You may cancel your monthly membership at any time. To avoid being charged for the upcoming month, you agree to provide written notice via email to [email protected] by at least the 20th of the month prior to the month that you'd like to cancel. Monthly charges occur every 30 days.

 

You may suspend your membership for up to 6 months and return with your initial monthly rate.

 

Missed classes are nonrefundable and do not rollover into upcoming months.

 

By submitting payment for a Meisner in Music class, you agree that any and all payments are nonrefundable for any reason and that the failure to attend or participate in a class is no basis for any refund.

 

Once you have enrolled in class by making payment, your spot is secured. Should you need to cancel your participation in class, written notice must be received to [email protected] at least 15 days before the start date of your class.  If notified at least 15 days prior, Meisner in Music will offer a credit equal to the amount that has been previously paid to be used for any other Meisner in Music class.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Class enrollment is operated on a first-come first-served basis, regardless of payment vs. credit. Credit will expire 1 year from the time of issuance. Credit may only be used with and for Meisner in Music. Should you need to cancel your class less than 7 days prior to the start date, you forfeit all payments made and no credits will be given. MEISNER IN MUSIC IS UNABLE TO ISSUE REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

 

Meisner in Music will enforce its payment policies to their fullest extent in the New York City Court System, and may engage a third party to collect amounts owed if necessary.
