🗣 You have a beautiful voice.
You know this, not only because you’ve spent years honing it but because you’ve heard it ring out gloriously in the shower, 🫧 belt with no inhibitions in the car, or do exactly what you wanted it to in practice sessions…
only then to seemingly betray you when you perform. 🎤
If you’ve asked yourself,
“What is blocking me from singing the way I do when I’m alone when I'm in front of others?”
the Meisner in Music Winter Intensive was built for you.
🫀 Our bodies hold onto stories. They have the ability to keep memories, experiences, and trauma held as patterns and tensions that we may have no awareness of and that might be affecting our performances without our conscious control.
This Winter, explore with us what things from your past may be impacting your performances in the present. ✨
The Intensive Includes:
• 🎵 Three 3 hour lecture & singing classes to absorb current research on performance psychology, gain grounding tools, and sing with those acquired techniques
• 🗣 Three 2.5 hour workshops with therapists working one-on-one with singers on applying therapeutic methods to song
• 🎹 Three performance opportunities in New York City to apply what we're learning every step of the way
• 🎥 1 HD video of your final performance to commemorate your achievements!
